Terms and Conditions

småles membership is for anyone living in Malaysia aged between 4 and 12 years old (according to your birthday, up till 3 months to your 13th birthday). Membership will remain valid until the end of your 13th birthday month, regardless of when you joined.
Applications are only accepted at the IKEA Malaysia Bug House.
Application should be accompanied with guardian’s consent (signature) and a photograph is taken at the Bug House in order to complete the Smålish passport.
Each småles can only have one active passport at any time. Illegal possession of a duplicate passport can result in a termination of account and fine of $2 Smålish dållars. Replacement of lost passports would cost $2 Smålish dållars. However, replacement of full passports with no space for new stickers is free.
Temporary card holders have to complete the entire application process within 3 months from the date of registration, in order to secure Smålish citizenship and get a passport.
Each time your child visits IKEA Malaysia and scans his/her passport at the småles shroom (coupon machine), he will receive a sticker for his passport (maximum one per day). Only by scanning the passport, a visit will be registered and he/she will receive $0.50 Smålish dållars. The stickers are not representative of the amount of money your child has.
Use of the Smålish passport, participation in events, printing/use of meal coupons, dållars withdrawal and newspaper recycling are all activities that can only be carried out by each respective småle. If his/her passport/member benefits are found to be misused, his/her citizenship may be revoked.
Smålish dållars can be used in various ways. Dållars and sänts can be withdrawn and printed from the småles shroom. Smålish dållars and sänts are not legal tender in Malaysia or the IKEA stores. Unused Smålish currency would be transferred to the Småland National Reserve upon expiry of your citizenship.
By scanning the passport at the småles shroom, your child can also receive a coupon for one discounted kid's meal and one free drink at the IKEA Restaurant. This coupon can only be used by your child, only once on the day of the visit, and for consumption at the IKEA Restaurant. If the passport or the meal coupon is found to be misused, it will be taken away. The passport may also be confiscated.
Visit to the IKEA Malaysia stores can happen as many times, but småles members can only earn a maximum of $10 Smålish dållars for store visits in a year (Jan-Dec). However, there are other ways for you to earn Smålish dållars.
Expired dållars and lost 13th Birthday postcards will not be reinstated or replaced. It is the responsibility of the Smålish citizen to take note of their citizenship expiry and make any redemption and use of their Smålish dållars before expiry.
Smålish dållars earned during the calendar year (Jan-Dec), regardless of month, will expire on 31 December two years later, or at the end of your 13th birthday month, whichever is earlier.
Green credits earned during one calendar year (Jan-Dec) will expire on 31 December two years later.
småles merchandise cannot be returned or refunded. However, merchandise redeemed using Smålish dållars may be exchanged in its original packaging within 14 days at the Bug House in the IKEA store(s), provided the merchandise is not found by IKEA co-workers to be dirty, used or abused.
småles members can get a chance to participate in special activities and events. Guardian's consent is required before they are allowed to join in any activity or event. It is your responsibility to remember the details of the activity you've registered for. No refund will be given for no-show situations.
småles members will also receive the Bug News regularly and have access to the småles website.
Height restrictions to enter the Småland playroom still apply regardless of age.
IKEA reserves the right to decline any application of Smålish citizenship. IKEA also has the right to amend any benefit, terms and conditions of operation of the småles programme without prior notice. Citizenship may be revoked if there is any violation of Småland's state legislation.
